For a number of years I have collected information on soldiers from the Sunderland area that were killed during the First World War. I am now fairly confident that I have information on the vast majority of soldiers from Sunderland, Murton, Seaham, Houghton, Hetton, the Washington area + nearby locations that were killed. Anyone seeking information on a soldier from Sunderland should post enquiries in a comment. Please pass on the web address: http://sunderlandsoldiers.blogspot.co.uk

Hi.
ReplyDeleteJ K Watson was married to my grandmother who he divorced in 1916 for adultery. J K Watson was married to Daisy Primrose Watson who father a child my father in wedlock by another man who he was nodody knows. What information was shown in the Newcastle Weekly Chronicle as Joseph Kipling Watson was 33 when he married my grandmother who was only just 17. I would love to find his date of birth or anything about this mystery man as I have a funny feeling he may have been married before but did marry again after the dicorce to Emma Carr.
