On route from Philadelphia for Limerick, Ireland she was torpedoed by German submarine UB-123
Christopher Clark - Third Mate – Age 29
Born at Robin Hood's Bay, Yorkshire
Buried at Kilrush Church Of Ireland Churchyard
Son of Christopher Granger Clark and Hannah Hodgson Clark, of "Hazelwood," Langholm Rd., East Boldon, Sunderland.

On the 19th October 1918 U-123 was mined with all hands lost
