For a number of years I have collected information on soldiers from the Sunderland area that were killed during the First World War. I am now fairly confident that I have information on the vast majority of soldiers from Sunderland, Murton, Seaham, Houghton, Hetton, the Washington area + nearby locations that were killed.
Anyone seeking information on a soldier from Sunderland should post enquiries in a comment.
